Good morning. Had a good and bad day yesterday. Good - lunch with Nancy. I love the kinds of things we talk about. We ate at Benjamin's. Now that I'm eating out again I'm remembering how much I miss eating salads. I had a garden salad with salmon. A pleasure to eat. I think the tree has filled in a much as it ever will at this point. I took the first photo on May 14th and the leaves were minuscule then so I would say for that tree it takes about 2 weeks to fill out. We had other maple trees in the yard that filled in in a matter of days though. ( Friday till today - photos HERE )

This project of taking a photo of the same tree, from the same angle everyday to show the rate of growth of it's leaves is turning out to be a little boring (barely anything happening - I should have chosen a different tree - the project would be over by now if I had).
